This includes the planning, development, procurement, implementation and evaluation of the Advantage Upgrade Project. Additionally, the expert will 1. Oversee the supervision and or direction of contactors/state FTEs; 2. Provide direction to large diverse project teams; 3. Oversee the creation of all project documents; 4. Ensure the Advantage Upgrade Project adheres to established ITD and PMO standards and procedures; 5. Act as a liaison between the state and vendor; 6. Ensure that all project engagement rules are adhered to; 7. Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget. Expected Deliverables: • Participate with ITD and CGI in completion of hardware assessment and execution of recommendations. o Provide oversight to insure assessment is completed in anaccurate and timely fashion. o Provide oversight to insure hardware procurement and installation is completed in a manner and timeframe that supports the project schedule. • Assist ITD in establishing a scope of work with CGI (software vendor) for upgrade services and monitor compliance. o Work with ITD and CGI to draft and approve a statement of work that will meet ITDs needs for upgrade support within their approved budget. o Monitor vendor compliance with the approved statement of work and escalate issues to facilitate resolution as appropriate. • Establish and maintain project plan and timeline. o Establish baseline project plan and timeline based upon input from ITD and CGI including identification of key dependencies and resources. o Monitor and report status against plan on a periodic basis including a project scorecard. o Identify risks and issues and escalate as necessary to facilitate mitigation or resolution. o Provide project management oversight and recommendations to support project completion on time and on budget. • Serve as a liaison between ITD and CGI (software vendor) project teams. o Participate in project team meetings as appropriate to facilitate planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks and deliverables. o Facilitate communication across project team members as well as ITD stakeholders as appropriate. o Identify and monitor project risks and issues and provide recommendations and follow up to mitigate or resolve. • Comply with ITD PMOs standards and requirements for project management including status, issue, and risk reporting. Required Skills: • Advanced experience (5+ years) managing ERP implementation or upgrade projects is required including: o Proven track record to deliver projects on time and on budget. o Proficient in the ability to draft, approve, execute and monitor statements of work including deliverable identification and acceptance criterion as needed to support project requirements. o Outstanding ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) at all levels in the organization impacted by the project including: ? technical resources such as DBAs, system architects, system administrators, and developers ? functional resources such as subject matter experts, business analysts, functional or team leads ? vendors and contractors ? project stakeholders and/or sponsors o Demonstrated proficiency in motivating teams to achieve project goals and objectives. o Developing detailed project plans and schedules including identification of key resources and dependencies. o Providing visibility and accountability for t   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
