ERwin SQL Oracle Database PostgreSQL Server Database Administration Reporting Servic   Requirement id 97535 Job title Developer Job location in Washington, DC Skills required Relational Database, ERwin, SQL Server, Oracle Database PostgreSQL Server Databa Open Date 10-Sep-2019 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 4 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: Relational Database, ERwin, SQL Server, Oracle Database PostgreSQL Server Databa Description: The positions essential duties include the following: Serves as Subject Matter Expert in data warehouse concepts (Kimball, Inmon, star schema, snowflake schemas, and normalized and de-normalized data models) Leads the integration of the data warehouse with a modern, leading business intelligence platform Leads in designing and revising data model for data warehouse, and meta data and data dictionaries across the enterprise Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products Analyzes and documents as-is and to-be scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans and solutions) Performed Source system analysis (SSA) to identify the source data that needs to be moved into the target tables Perform Data Analysis and Data validation by writing SQL queries Innovating new ways to standardize existing data processes and optimizing current workflows Creating custom data sets for use within our Analytics teams Create Data Mapping documents, data dictionaries and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Works as part of Scrum Development Team and effectively participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives Meets and collaborates with business users on requirements and objectives Leads in reviewing and revising database designs and scripts on an ongoing basis Leads in documenting meta-data about Data Warehouse System according to computer industry standards and knowledge of database management systems Manages data loads, and security, storage and performance strategies and implementations Serves as technical team member in the development of business intelligence reports and analysis, providing mentoring, guidance and troubleshooting to analysis team members in solving complex reporting and analytical problems Meets and collaborates with business users on requirements and objectives Conducts complex analyses of strategic issues based on analysis of trends and interrelationships of key performance drivers documented in the data warehouse, especially the identification of test and control groups and comparison and evaluation of their relative performance Synthesizes research results and develops actionable strategic recommendations Communicates research results and strategic recommendations to nationwide and division strategy managers. Devises ER diagrams and identifies unique foreign keys, entities, attributes, relationships and business rules for data warehouse TYPE OF EXPERIENCE/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Relational Databases (8 years) Knowledge of Dimensional Model (Erwin, ER Studio) (8 years) SQL Server ,Oracle, PostgreSQL (10 years) SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services (8 years) Requirements Gathering (8 years) SQL Programming (8 years) Business intelligence technologies and solutions (5 years) Data Profiling (5 years) Strong knowledge in Pentaho Data Integration Tool (5 years) Desired experience: Development experience working with MDM application like MDS.
