Position Description We are seeking a SAP Process Integration / Orchestration Developer for a 6 month project, with the possibility of an extension. This position will be responsible for designing and developing data integration solutions in an existing SAP PI / PO application environment using the SAP B2B add-on. The EDI developer will efficiently and effectively interact with the business analyst, software architect, and business users to translate the business requirements into data interface solutions. The candidate should be well versed in mapping various data sources (not limited to EDI X12, XML, and flat file) to and from SAP IDOCs. The ideal candidate would additionally have a strong technical background in the setup and maintenance of web service calls to and from SAP. A background in wholesale or retail distribution would be preferable. Position Responsibilities: • Analyze business, functional requirements and develop solutions and programs as needed for the projects. • Follow best practices in development methodology. Document changes in EDI maps as required by IT EDI Change Management Policies and Procedures. • Build new Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) and Integration Directory objects and modify existing ones. • Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, business simulation and other various tests as required to ensure quality solutions. • Proven experience with multiple data transfer methods such as VAN, FTP (with PGP), and AS2 using the SAP B2B connector. • Provide guidance on support, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP PI / PO production issues, optimizing performance, and resolving production issues based on previous experience and best practices. Job Requirements: • B.S. in Business or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. • Expert knowledge in a variety of EDI mapping protocols in SAP PI / PO especially standard EDI X12 (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 870, 846, 832, 940, 945, 997) and XML. • Strong experience in Web service calls (including SOAP) • Strong experience in on-premise to cloud integration. • Strong understanding of SLD architecture. • At least 5 years of SAP experience. • At least 5 years of experience in an SOA environment using SAP PI / PO. • Strong planning, organizing, communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work proficiently with little daily guidance. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Desirable Qualifications: • Proficiency in Java coding a plus • 5 years of business experience with a focus on sales, materials management, or supply chain. • Hands on experience with setup of new systems in SAP Systems Landscape Directory • Hands on experience in SAP configuration and SAP Basis   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
