CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO CENTRAL OHIO OR ABLE TO RELOCATE BY DAY ONE FOR CONSIDERATION. Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse / ETL / Informatica Cloud Specialist to support implementing/maintaining new cloud and on-premises Data Warehouse environments. This will include new Data Lake, Operational Data Store and Data Marts for Business Reporting on Snowflake, related AWS infrastructure, and on-premises data sources. Data sources will include a variety of Relational Databases and Semi-structured data. Both ETL and ELT jobs for on-premises and cloud environments will use a combination of technologies (Python, SQL, and DBT). Experience with Snowflake and DBT is a plus but not required. The position would continue through FY22, with the possible of continuation into FY23. Job Duties: Provide periodic on-call production support for on-premises and cloud environments, averaging 25% of weeks Integration of new technologies and workflows Work with Business and Data Analysts, Data Modelers, and potentially Business Customers, to verify requirements Follow design documents involving source and destination databases Interpret design documents to understand mapping and transformational requirements Design, develop and test ETL/ELT processes using DBT/SQL/Python to move data to/from relational and star-schema based data structures Optimize ETL/ELT processes to fit in a desired time frame Build batch flows with an Enterprise Batch Scheduler (e.g. Automic) Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Experience required Requirements: 10 or more years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes 10 or more years of experience developing with SQL 10 or more years of experience building ETL processes using SQL/Python and/or ETL tool experience (such as DBT, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, Abenicio, Talend) 5 or more years of software development experience with Relational databases (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Vertica) 5 or more years of experience developing ETL processes against dimensional/star-schema based data structures including fact tables (commonly referred to as Kimball) Desired Skills: Experience developing and modifying ETL/ELT processes Experience with MPP Databases (Snowflake, RedShift, etc.) Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies Experience with development in Python Experience scheduling ETL processes Experience with Cognos/Tableau business intelligence tools Experience developing against normalized data structures (commonly referred to as Inmon) Knowledge of property and casualty insurance systems and/or Medical industry processing Knowledge of Ohio business model and processes Experience using SQL development tools Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience developing and modifying scripts in a Windows environment Experience in measuring/tuning performance of batch systems in a Windows environment Skill in the use of organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
