It is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (SQL/Hive/ETL) The Data Analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of Hive SQL (HiveQL – HQL) ETL queries from specification documents. Domain: Healthcare Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6-9 Month Contact (possible extension) Summary Develop complex data extracts, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, HiveQL (HQL). Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery. Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions; ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results. Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes. Serve as mentoring resource for other developers. Support goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business. Participate in Daily Standup. Requirements/Skills (Required) 7+ Years of SQL Experience including 3+ years of HiveQL (HQL) and Hive Tables Experience with entire SDLC of project Data Modelling/Data Warehouse concepts Strong SQL Development Unix Scripting experience Performance tuning Data Pipeline development (data flow) Familiarity with various data types and sources (JSON, Structured, Unstructured) Healthcare Domain Experience with experience with Facets or other Claims Data.
