Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. Data Analytics and ETL). Applies company and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity. Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions complexity or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions. Education and Experience: Typically a technical Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience. Experience working within the Health and Life Sciences domain, State Medicaid, and / or Health Insurance Plans. Track record of implementing solutions in Agile, Iterative and Waterfall development environments. Knowledge and Skills: More than 5 years of experience in designing, building, testing and maintaining complex dashboard visualizations using Tableau. Experience with Python, R (R Project for Statistical Computing), COBOL, PL/1, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net all a plus! Developed Tableau workbooks to perform year over year, quarter over quarter, YTD, QTD and MTD type of analysis. Hand on experience on building trending graphs and connectivity with various databases including Vertica, Oracle, etc. Involved in creating database objects like tables, views, procedures, triggers, and functions using vizSQL to provide definition, structure and to maintain data efficiently. Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server. Created action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Restricted data for particular users using Row level security and User filters. Developed Tableau visualizations and dashboards using Tableau Desktop. Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending.
