Also the ability to architect dimensional Business Objects presentation layer that will reside on top of a non-dependent 3rd NF RDBMS platform. Additionally, will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across campus. Ideally will have knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence methodologies and best practices. Accountabilities: . Setting up processes for Multiple Release environments . Complex ETL coding specification for Off-Shore or other ETL developers . Complex Business Object universes development with multiple facts or dimensional views over 3rd Normal form . Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts designs, methodologies, DLC, and approaches. . Design, development, and architecture experience implementing data warehouse/data mart applications utilizing the Informatica ETL tool. . Experience in developing and maintaining applications built on Oracle, AS400, and Teradata databases. . Excellent communication skills and decision making skills are essential . Demonstrated proficiency writing complex SQL, PL/SQL and T*SQL queries. . Strong analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills. . Interact with business and IT analysts to efficiently transform, extract, load data sets, and clearly interpret business requirement specification into detail data mappings. . Document designs and architect data maps . Develop data quality components . Establish and / or conduct unit tests . Design and Document ETL system and integration test plans . Ensures that all the related subject areas are consistent with Transport measurement strategies. . Ensures that project deliverables meet quality standards. People / Relationship Management: . Builds strong relationships with ETL management and enterprise data warehouse staff. . Maintains professional relationships with peers. . May assist team leader in directing ETL development and architecture. . Provides EDW team member mentoring 6-8 years of technology experience. Concrete examples of delivery around data intensive or business intelligence projects preferably in a Data Warehouse environment. . 4-5 years of Informatica development experience with at least one year experience in Power center version 7.x . Proven communications skills to build trusting partnership with business clients . Ability to work with a sense of urgency and with minimal direction. . Ability to work successfully on virtual teams. . Excellent negotiation, issue resolution and facilitation skills. . Ability to define and champion standards and make the relationship between standards, improved business measurement and business benefit. .Good exposure to Data Warehousing, Date Modeling and expereince as a technology lead.
