Designs and develops SQL queries for extracting information, trends, insights and metrics from data stored in the database. Well versed in using relational database management systems, specifically SQL Server. Utilizes Trillium data profiling tool for analysis purposes and configures tool for specific data needs. Defines and writes functional specification in support of the data quality requirements. Perform Data Analysis/Data Profiling on key Master Data entities in order to report and plan data remediation and data cleanup activities Create metrics and reports (ad-hoc and repetitive) to support data management, data quality and Data Governance programs Job Experience Detailed knowledge of Data Modeling, both relational and dimensional Familiarity with ETL protocols Strong analytical and data management skills Extensive experience with SQL Adept in MS Excel and report building tools Exposure to Data Profiling and Data Warehousing Best Practices Experience with developing entity and attribute business rules within the Trillium toolset. Experience in data mining techniques, procedures and best practices. Works with Data Owners and Data Analyst to understand the data for purposes of technical data analysis and to understand the query related requirements. Has worked on large data set sets Experience in supporting all aspects of Trillium Software, specifically Trillium Quality and Discovery components of TSS 14 or later versions on Linux platform. The person should have detailed technical knowledge of the tool suite, have the ability to setup new users and explain the intricate details about the tool to others. The person selected for this role will provide service and support for the tool as the primary focus of their time. Assignment to specific project teams will be made on an as needed basis. Required Skills A MS/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred 2-5 or more years of experience using Trillium Software for analyzing large datasets. 2-5 or more years of demonstrated experience related to Data Analysis (gathering data Rules and Requirements, performing data analysis on a data warehouse and/or source systems, and implementation experience in a large-scale, multi-user environment, work with functional specs, use cases, test cases, test plans) working with users to tweak patterns and multi table complex rules Self-motivated, team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
