Job DutiesEvaluate technical designs and data mapping documents, in partnership with designers, based on user requirements Utilize designs to develop accurate, defect-free code Create and update technical documentations using high level technical specification documents Create unit test plans and conduct unit testing accordingly Participate in code reviews and test plan reviews Work with client Quality Assurance team during Integration and User Acceptance testing Perform performance tuning on both UNIX ETL and database environments Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning and support of existing applicationsDefine the Solution and put together the approach/road map for the Data InitiativesDefine and Build Data provisioning strategy for enterprise wide initiative Required QualificationsRequires 3+ years of hands on experience in Talend studio to create ETL transformations Has solid experience in Talend platform architecture and component installation, configuration and integration2-3 years of experience in RDMS like Oracle/Teradata or SQL Server with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation Nice to Have Experience in any scheduling tools such as IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Control M, AutoSys, etc. Experience in UNIX scripting Knowledge of data warehousing techniques Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling Excellent English oral and written communication skills Demonstrated work experience with projects of complex scope Good working knowledge of data warehouse, database design, Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Visio Familiarity with both waterfall and iterative development methodologies is a plus Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
