The ETL tool is 2018 SQL Server Data Tools • The project ETL Design includes scripting to auto-generate the interim target data model for a custom ~1000 tables Claims Module of a proprietary large insurance management system from Oracle metadata. The Oracle metadata is harvested by others uniquely in Excel format and will be merged with header records of ~1000 content data files to derive DDL that will spawn a physical data model that fits the content files augmented by audit columns. The trivial ETL to populate this model will be the responsibility of this roles two CLAIMS Off-Shore Developers. This team will have primary responsibility for UAT Go-Live Implementation. • Design and automation of these scripts are a key responsibility of this Position • The Position is responsible for the High Level Design and the Detail Design for Data Management of the CLAIMS Subject areas which will include full Data Lineage, as well as the Build and Test Phases. Detail Design will include automation and check point logging for ETL Batches. Exception Logging, Resumes and Restarts are in-scope • The Position is responsible to work with the Business Data Analyst to compile the technical documentation of the Coders to support future Break / Fix / Enhancements • The Position has 2 direct reports who are off-shore Coder position Must have Skills • 8+ years of ETL experience across the Financial and Insurance industries in similar positions • 6+ Insurance industry experience with installs of Insurance management systems or similar financial background • 6+ years of experience conceptualizing and architecting Data Migration projects • 6+ years hands-on experience with a major ETL tool set.
