Job Description :

It in Las Vegas is looking for a 2 Informatica Developers to join the team onsite at one of their healthcare clients. Details of the position are below.


***Please note: Candidates must have experience with Informatica Power Center 9.5 or higher AND PL/SQL and/or T-SQL***



Position Description:

This position is responsible for design, development, enhancement, verification and maintenance of ETLs from various sources to an Oracle data warehouse and to external clients using Informatica Power Center. Duties and responsibilities include: ETL Administration; data source mapping; troubleshooting; development; source data reconciliations; ETL system development; and documenting.


Primary Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, maintain, monitor and execute production ETL processes using Informatica Power Center

* Investigate production ETL issues / problems

* Mapping database sources to specified data formats

* Verify and validate ETL deliverables

* Lead troubleshooting episodes and communicate solutions/resolutions to the team

* Translate concepts to requirements, and development into an automated production process.

* Act as a subject matter expert and resource for others on assigned ETL processes.

* Complete projects and development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Suggest changes and enhancements for ETL processes.

* Document hours and development activities by following SDLC and IS Change Management guidelines.



Position Requirements:

* 3 or more years experience using Informatica Power Center 9.5 or higher

* 3 or more years experience with PL/SQL and/or T-SQL

* Strong knowledge of database design and entity relationships

* Data warehouse and/or Extract, Transform, and Load knowledge

* Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field, or related work experience



Required Qualifications:

* Production ETL operations and monitoring

* Informatica Power Center experience

* General knowledge of Healthcare Data
