Evaluate historical performance data and determine appropriate VM sizing or assess exceptions as needed. Work with engineers to ensure an architecturally sounds and risk sensitive design is achieved. Help support the groups reporting infrastructure; MS SQL backend with Crystal Reports and Tableau front end. Responsibilities: Gather capacity and performance data to provide recommendations and develop server sizings Conduct data analysis and make recommendations Perform performance troubleshooting Support SQL database and ETL jobs, reporting portal Required Skills: BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience Must have proven, strong analytic and problem solving skills in areas of managing, analyzing, manipulating data and researching and analyzing performance/capacity of various technologies. Systems engineering experience VMware engineering/support experience Experience in IT Capacity Planning Self-directed attitude Ability to think outside the box Desired Skills: SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools experience.
