The development work related to this job requires proven skills to effectively work with agile methodologies to deliver incremental, well tested and high quality implementations during 1-2 weeks release cycles. • Familiar with change, release and deployment processes of complex multi-tiered applications on multiple OS platform (RedHat Linux, Solaris, AIX and Windows) . • Demonstrate strong technical and analytical capabilities to tackle difficult integration problems. Specific deliverables include: • Capture detailed requirements from with various stakeholders - product engineering/solutions teams, infrastructure support teams and existing tool owners, which will be used to define target technical architecture and successful testing criteria • Hands-on installation, configuration and testing of various products (vendors & opensource) to test API integration with Enterprise deployment solution • Develop and test interfaces and services which can execute Java, Perl, Python and Ruby application /utilities from Eclipse framework based development tools (Eclipse IDE, Rational RAD/RSA, Oracle JDeveloper) and native C++/.Net Microsoft .Net Studio • Develop and test interfaces and services that integrate with ALM & release and deployment products such as IBM Rational Team Concert/BuildForge, Serena Dimensions/Changeman DS, CollabNet TeamForge, Microsoft Team Foundation Server • Develop Integration components with various change management tools/processes • Deliver self-documented code and Technical Documentation (geared to systems administrators and developers/users audiences) • Maintain an Enterprise Deployment forum and respond to questions from development community Requirements: • Extensive working knowledge of developing Eclipse plugins using the Plugin development Environment(PDE) • Extensive working knowledge of deploying Web & Java apps to IBM WebSphere, Apache Geronimo/Tomcat/Jetty, JBoss EAP running on RedHat Linux, Oracle Solaris and IBM AIX • Working knowledge of developing plugins for Microsoft .Net Studio • Working knowledge of deploying multi-tiered apps on Microsoft Windows desktop and server platforms • Working knowledge of various Eclipse plugins used for application configuration/deployment (Web Tools Platform, Mylyn, Tasktop) • Working knowledge of using Continuous integration tools Hudson/Jenkins • Working knowledge of using Java profilers (JProbe, JProfiler, JVMPI-based ones) • Experience with different source code management tools (SVN, Clearcase, Git) • Experience performing build engineer function or writing complex Ant based build scripts for large application portfolio • Minimum of 5 years Java GUI based development and OO design skills using Eclipse IDE • Minimum of 3 years development with scripting languages Perl, Python and Ruby, windows batch and powershell • Working knowledge of developing Eclipse plugins and application components using Eclipse/OSGi • Good understanding of Eclipse development frameworks, including Eclipse modeling framework(EMF), SWF, JFace, Equinox/OSGi • Good understanding of how to develop Eclipse headless/RCP applications • Working knowledge of developing SOAP WebServices, REST based applications and creating/manipulating complex data definition structures in various formats including WDSL, XML, JSON • Working knowledge of developing apps   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
