Responsibilities: • Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases -Ability to write test cases and execute testing within a Portal and Oracle environment -Product test and driving defect resolution • Establish and maintain test cases and test data • Create and maintain test cases in ALM • Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance • Work with business users, system analysts, business analyst and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents • Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects • Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycle • Participate in strategic planning sessions, best practice and improvement planning efforts to ultimately implement. Must have Skills: • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience • 5+ years Healthcare Industry experience • 5+ years of experience creating/executing queries to find/update data accurately in a database (for example MySQL/Oracle) • Ability to use queries to do analysis and validation of testing outcomes in a database • Demonstrated communication/presentation skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) Nice to have: • Ability to research business requirements, functional design and system solution documents to determine an efficient, effective testing strategy and approach • Proven record of creating test case scenarios that trace back to requirements • Experience with System Integration Testing - planning, driving, executing • Ability to understand data management techniques, how to create/maintain test data • Experience using ALM for managing test artifacts, execution and defects • Experience using Selenium, Jenkins or other test automation frameworks and tools • Experience with EDI Transaction, XML • Experience testing Portal applications • Medicare & Medicaid eligibility and insurance products • Back Office support role and responsibilities for Medicare & Medicaid enrollments • Healthcare Exchange (subsidized or unsubsidized) enrollments into commercial products.
