Design, plan, and implement LANs using the latest technology. Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade network infrastructures. Perform analyses of customer security needs and recommend, design and implement secure server and network environments. Anticipates and mitigates potential security breaches through network connections to ensure security. Test LAN/WAN/WLAN security products: implement test plans, evaluate test equipment and design test networks, and aid in the development of automated test suites. Implement and support Microsoft applications such as Exchange, Sharepoint, Active Directory, Live Communication Server, etc. Perform planned system changes and upgrades. Document system configurations. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Windows, including Microsoft server 2003 and higher, Microsoft Exchange 2003 and higher, Symantec Endpoint virus protection, Backup Executive and Mail Security required. Minimum 2 years of experience in: IPS, IDS, Routing (EIGRP, BGP), Switching (802.1q, 802.1p, MSTP), Firewalls, VPN (IPSec, SSL, GRE), General Telecommunications (ATM, PPP, MPLS) preferred. Strong administration and engineering skills for all Windows services including AD, WINS, DNS, DFS and Terminal Services. Experience implementing and supporting Cisco Router and Fortinet Firewalls preferred. A general understanding of data communication concepts and network/software configuration management.
