Duties and Responsibilities: Leads and administers Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync. Provides direction in planning, testing, tuning and provides advanced support in the configuration and setup of Microsoft Lync architecture as well as supporting Exchange and any other email applications (Outlook, Active Sync, Blackberry Enterprise Server) Participates in the design and management of WMs Public Key Infrastructure Maintains appropriate documentation on associated environments (including deployment, configuration, and related processes) Performs advanced system administration in a Windows Active Directory environment Analyzes and evaluates information systems operations and provides technical direction and recommendations to improve utilization Monitors messaging infrastructure and troubleshoots complicated or ambiguous problems and performs advanced preventative maintenance on hardware and software on a scheduled basis Installs, configures and maintains server operating systems and repairs server hardware as needed Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency Monitors network system backups and participates in disaster recovery planning, testing and response Provides 24/7 on-call support as needed (such as weekends, holidays, and outside normal business hours) Assists in e-Discovery (the identification, preservation and collection of electronically stored information related to litigation) Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar area of study. Five years of related IT experience including Microsoft Exchange and Lync Administrator experience required. An additional four years of related experience may substitute for the Bachelors degree. MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCP, A+ certifications preferred Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities: 4+ years experience supporting a large-scale Exchange Environment 3+ years experience supporting a large-scale Lync Environment Experience design and support of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) 3+ years experience supporting mobile email devices such as Blackberry, iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and DNS and how it relates to the Exchange and Lync environment Knowledge of Windows Powershell and scripting skills Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security features Knowledge of network infrastructure and operations, including switching, routing, Ethernet and TCP/IP Knowledge of remote access technology Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex escalation issues and respond to customer demands in a timely manner Customer service and telephone skills, and experience in a professional service environment Experience supporting multiple applications and network environments Problem solving and analytical skills Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Additional Knowledge, Skills or Abilities that Contribute to Success: Knowledge of storage concepts Exposure to Continuous Availability Messaging design and architecture for DR/BC Knowledge of Proofpoint Security solution   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
