FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILL Budgeting SDLC Interpersonal Sills Problem Solving Skill   Requirement id 44406 Job title Manager Job location in S San Fran, CA Skills required Project Management, Pharmaceutical Experience, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILL, Budgeting SDLC Interpersonal Sills Probl Open Date 25-Mar-2015 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 9 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Manager: Project Management, Pharmaceutical Experience, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILL, Budgeting SDLC Interpersonal Sills Probl Project Manager South San Francisco, CA Approx. 9 months project Responsibilities: * Provides project management for various applications requiring customer and business input, using meeting facilitation to determine needs and develop solutions. * Works with project teams comprised of the Business, Application Developers, Architects, Engineers, -Operations, and Quality to deliver technology solutions and enable organizational capabilities. * Concurrently manages multiple projects of diverse scope across functional areas. * Manages projects using the corporate IT Project Management Methodology (PMM) lifecycle. * Creates and/or assists with required project documentation practices such as user requirements, functional specifications, diagrams, and testing plans. * Creates test plans and participates as an active member of test teams. * Manages project statements of work (SOWs), change requests, requests for proposal and other procurement activities in conjunction with IT planning teams as required. * Effectively communicates to stakeholders in verbal and written form, and represents both gRED and Pharma Informatics to interfacing departments and external affiliates. * Manages project budgets, scheduling, planning and contractor resource assignments, and tracks vendor and consultant performance including billing against budget and contract. * Collaborates effectively with business, technical and validation resources, to ensure project delivery and ongoing support of business services and applications. * Plans early stage project efforts, including business requirements gathering, assessment and scoping. * Analyzes, documents, and/or advises on current and future business process models. * Serves as liaison between Pharma Informatics and Development Sciences for software/OS updates. * Interfaces with vendors to report, obtain status, and escalate issues related to application performance/bugs. Requirements: * 3-5 years of IT project management experience. BS or BA degree in information systems or engineering discipline. * Working knowledge or experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology early development. * Demonstrated experience with large project implementations in a matrixed IT organization. * Experience with financial management, project budgeting and forecasting. * Strong understanding of SDLC and the application of information systems management and modern technology platforms/trends. * Familiarity with current cloud/web-based technologies and infrastructure (e.g. Google Apps, Google Drive, SharePoint, etc.). * Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively across multiple IT functions and customer groups. * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. Professional focus on solution delivery and customer service.
