Firewalls VPN Routing And Switching Network Infrastructure Designing MCITP Engineer<   Requirement id 18896 Job title Engineer Job location in TROY, MI Skills required Server Administration, Firewalls, VPN, Routing And Switching Network Infrastruc Open Date 22-May-2014 Close Date Job type Contract to Hire Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screening Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Engineer: Server Administration, Firewalls, VPN, Routing And Switching Network Infrastruc ** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting ** Can submit only Green Card and Citizens ** Can submit at higher rate *** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays *** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times DT - Hours worked on Sundays Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide technology support: install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and other security products, providing solutions to hardware/software problems. • Design, plan, and implement LANs using the latest technology. • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade network infrastructures. • Perform analyses of customer security needs and recommend, design, and implement secure server and network environments. • Implement and support Microsoft applications such as Exchange, Sharepoint, Active Directory, Live Communication Server, etc. • Perform planned system changes and upgrades. • Advanced installation and support of Microsoft Server, SQL, Symantec AV, Backup Exec, and Exchange. • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide direct customer support QUALIFICATIONS: • BS in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent. Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement. • Strong understanding of data communication concepts and network/software configuration management. • MCITP Enterprise Admin and CCNA are preferred • Minimum of five years of experience in: Exchange and Server Administration, Firewalls, VPN (IPSec, SSL, GRE), routing and switching. • Minimum of five years experience in infrastructure/network environments; designing, planning and implementing using the latest technology; and security solutions.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
