Summary: This position will be a team member on the Shared Services WAN team responsible for providing various Network Services from remote network support, Network MAC services, and onsite field services for deployments. Including but not limited to working on Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, and coordinating with Telco vendors. Position will be participating in domestic and international projects/rollouts both on site and remotely. In addition this position will require having a high level of organizational skills, both written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills. Database and web skills are a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for data center administrative and maintenance duties. Responsible for implementing various WAN technologies. This includes, but will not be limited to Frame-Relay, VPN, MPLS, and PTP. Responsible for implementing various hardware platforms. This includes, but will not be limited to Cisco Routers (2800, 2900, 3800, 3900, 7200 series) and switches (2900, 3500, 4500, 6500 series) Responsible for 3rd level WAN implementation assistance and troubleshooting. Responsible for coordinating with onsite support, when required, by the customer. Responsible for customer relations and exceeding customer expectations for service and communication. Responsible for design and implementation of non-standard LAN/WAN deployments as requested by management Responsible for 100% compliance to change management and problem management process and procedures Qualifications: Service Now and CMS Case Management skills a plus. 5 + years Network experience working on Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. 5-8 years general IT experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills Ability to communite high level updates Experience in management of multiple related projects with multiple customers Excellent interpersonal skills in relating with cross functional IT departments. Experience in large scale networks Experience with Network Design, Engineering and Implementation Experience with MPLS/ATM/Frame-Relay/VPN technologies Experience with Hardware including but not limited to Cisco, Firewalls, Catalyst, Checkpoint, Nexus Series platforms. Preferably 8 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Certifications/ Licenses: Cisco Certifications Highly desired: CCNP and CCNA minimum.
