Monitors, implements changes after approval, backups, works with trouble tickets, and patching. c. Responds to incidents on a 24X7 basis. d. Other duties as assigned. 2. Performs vulnerability assessments against new devices before production implementation. a. Configures, tests, reports, and provides guidance to correct deficiencies with IT system assessments. b. Escalates issues with the Information Security Officer. 4. Works with various levels of departmental personnel to ensure that business needs and security objectives are met. a. Completes work requests. b. Responds to email requests dealing with IT security systems. c. Works with section managers and the ISO to determine appropriate security controls for business systems. 5. Assists the Information Security Officer with technology evaluations and solutions. a. Conducts reviews of new and existing technologies and coordinates planning with the ISO. b.
