Job Description Architect: Flash, Flex API, Java Application, SAS Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Rele

Description:

Client is requesting proposals to (1) be accountable for the comprehensive system design, business logic and user interface development, and service interfaces, and/or (2) be accountable for all development activities related to data aggregation of contracted data sources, data quality, analytical data sets, and all analytical algorithms.
*In order to be accountable for the comprehensive long-term system design, business logic and user interface development and service interfaces,Client approximates that the following resources should be available:
*Chief Architect
*1-2 Developers – Web Services
*1-2 Developers – User Interface
*1 Quality Assurance Analyst

*Client is now entering the next phase of product development and is seeking to contract with a software development organization(s) to be responsible for the software engineering of the product/data offering. As Client does not maintain in-house software engineering resources, the people/organizations selected will provide all aspects of software product development and maintenance. Responsibilities will include:
*Deliver a long-term architectural design capable of supporting the operational requirements and roadmap of the product.
*Adopt a formalized agile development methodology and product management process that ensures timely, customer-aligned delivery of functionality.
*Migrate, enhance, and extend the existing prototype code base into the first “production” release of the product.

Required Skills:

*Flash/Flex for user interface
*Java
*SAS
*Red Hat Enterprise Linux
*All software engineering functions will be required to adhere to an agile development lifecycle – specifically, Scrum.
