CSC Managed Services is seeking a Fortinet high level engineer with strong FortiSIEM and Network background. The consultant will be responsible for auditing the Current Service Model which includes assessing the platform, identifying automation initiatives and recommending plans of action to bolster and expand application monitoring services to meet agency needs. Current Service Model: • Applications Monitoring - Perform applications and device monitoring to measure real-time application, service and network performance. • ServiceNow Integration – Events are sent to ITOMs Event Management (via API) triggering alerts and incidents records. • Custom Dashboards - Displays the current health of the applications, services and network devices which are tailored to specific use cases. Specific Knowledge, Skills: • 5+ years of experience using FortiSIEM as a monitoring tool for networks, application and service monitoring including discovery and/or service mapping (experience in an Enterprise environment is preferred). • 5+ years of experience using network/firewall protocol and services. • 5+ years of experience and sound understanding of network infrastructure and LAN topology which includes routers, hubs, switches, WAN/Frame Relay/MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc. • 5+ years of experience on FortiSIEMs system and tool integration initiatives/projects • 5+ years of experience (high level) technical expertise on automation initiatives/projects Specific Abilities: • Experienced Thought Leader that is an expert in your technical field and skilled with the ability to turn innovative ideas into reality. • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment to complete multiple projects simultaneously according to business and technical requirements • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build strong collaborative partnerships across functional lines and at all levels within the organization and the business • A synergistic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Solid leadership, problem solving, project management and decision-making skills. • Results-driven with consistent success in delivering business objectives that improves service and support • Flexible, dependable and able to work in a team environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
