Project Description – what are the selling points that would spike a candidates interest in this role: We need an experienced full stack software engineer to develop features and functionality for an application that manages and audits the transmission of claim data between Best Buy enterprise systems and our warranty Third Party Administrators (TPSs). The application is a custom-built application on Microsoft platform with DOTNET 4.0 and SQL 2008/12 with SSRS/SSIS reporting solution. The development process follows an Agile/Scrum methodology with a movement toward implementing rapid build and deployment procedures. Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for: 8-10 years of software development experience with Microsoft Technologies 8-10 years of MSSQL experience. Demonstrated knowledge of one or more unit test frameworks. Demonstrated knowledge of Entity Framework and WebAPI. Experience with Code First Migrations for Entity Framework is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks. Specifically, Angular.js (1.x). Experience with C# helper tools is a plus (i.e. AutoMapper, CsvHelper, Newtonsoft.Json, etc) Experience with TFS and continuous build methods. Understanding of the SCRUM methodology the application of the agile development process. Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills. Ability to independently identify and triage solutions. Demonstrated ability to drive solutions to completion. Experience in performance optimization and tuning throughout the stack is a plus.
