Deliverables: Consultant will work directly with the QC Raw Materials and Chemistry teams to qualify laboratory instruments. Instruments include FTIR, Karl Fischer, Autotitrator, Density Meter, GC, UV/Vis, HPLC, Digital Microscope, or other instruments or equipment as the project requires. Experience writing and executing qualification and/or validation protocols and reports is required Experience using electronic (paperless) systems to write and execute protocols is preferred Experience with qualification of laboratory instruments (IQ/OQ/PQ) and USP <1058> is required Demonstrated expertise with FTIR, Karl Fischer, Autotitrator and Density Meter is preferred. Working knowledge of GMPs, ICH guidelines and Pharmacopeia (USP/NF and EP) methods is preferred Demonstrated ability to present technical information to others is preferred Ability to work around and/or with hazardous materials and chemicals generally found in a laboratory environment is required Familiarity with lab practices/techniques (pipetting, weighing, preparation of samples, solutions and reagents) is preferred Ability to work extended or off-shift hours to support laboratory operations (if required) is preferred Education: BS/BA degree in life sciences, chemistry, engineering, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
