The scope of services required for the Software Engineers includes: o Work independently with supervisory guidance to develop a web based application and continue development on a smart client application using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 (2010 & 2008 are also in use) with VB.NET language. o Coding applications & reports using various tools – including MVC, ASP.Net, VB.NET, HTML and SQL Reporting Services. o Knowledge of the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) framework o Creation of stored procedures for accessing SQL Server 2012 (2005 is also in use) databases. o Ability to write clear and concise technical implementation documentation and comment developed code accordingly. o Verbal communication skills to explain and transfer knowledge both informally and at design and code review meetings. o Written communication skills to prepare regular periodic status reports.
