The ALM Tool Analyst will perform level 1 triage, level 2 resolution and level 3 troubleshooting along with intermediate configuration/development JIRA projects schemes and workflows. This position requires a solid understanding along with hands-on experience of the Atlassian Suite of Tools with the primary focus in JIRA. Examples of day-to-day activities include (but are not limited to) configuration & customization of JIRA projects including screens, workflows and scripting; user account/access control, ticket triage and resolution as well as monthly Atlassian server maintenance. The ideal candidate should be able to “hit the ground running” with little to no training required in the ability to work with the Atlassian tools. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provide tier 1 triage of all ALM support tickets on a day to day basis. Manage security requests for all ALM Tools and customers including license assignment and tracking. Provide support to the teams utilizing the ALM Toolsets, troubleshoot day to day issues as well as answer any technical questions. Perform configuration, and customization of the ALM Tools on customer projects, machines and Servers. Perform monthly maintenance activities as required on the Atlassian servers, including plug-in upgrade testing and deployment. Assist with answering technical questions related to product configuration, and customization of the JIRA project areas. Assist in developing reports/queries from the JIRA server and plug-in reporting software tools for the customers. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills Basic programming experience Excellent writing, communication, organization/time management skills Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems Ability to guide and coordinate the work assigned by others Thorough knowledge of computer hardware/software capabilities and configurations including some knowledge of database software, ALM Software and Source Control Management tools Experience with installing, configuring and administering Atlassian Tools specifically: Jira Confluence Desired Skills Familiarity with scripting in a cross-platform environment (perl, UNIX shell, and others) Knowledge of different development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Traditional/Waterfall etc. Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems installation and upgrade processes. Experience with installing, configuring and administering Atlassian Tools additional to those listed above: Atlassian Software JIRA Software Plug-ins Crowd Directory Server Adaptivist Script Runner Bit-Bucket Misc.
