* Position is available in hybrid or 100% remote with preference for remote employee that is available to attend on-campus events. Wisconsin residency is preferred, but not required. Travel will be reimbursed

Description :

This role is responsible for the following:
? Assists in mapping business processes using basic mapping methodologies
? Assists in the design, development, and implementation of data reporting and business intelligence systems
? Provides basic procedural and technical guidance to unit staff regarding technology usage and management
? Assists in the identification, development, and facilitation of unit staff training opportunities
? Performs basic data analyses and reporting
? Ensure business requirements are met and solutions are efficient and accurate
? Help educate and enforce Workday Report methodologies with other team members

Required skills:

? Ability to perform complex data analysis
? Attention to detail
? Strong problem-solving skills
? Sound judgement in decision-making
? Strong communication skills -- both written and oral -- including the ability to communicate
sensitive information effectively
? Public speaking skills and comfort presenting to large groups
? Forward-thinking; ability to ground conversation in a vision for the future versus constraints
of the current state

Preferred skills:

? Experience working with an ERP system Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology,
and/or Research Administration
? Experience working with a Workday / cloud ERP implementation
? Information Security experience
? Experience working in a higher education setting
? Knowledge of the UW System and UW-Madison business support environment
