Analyzes business requirements, workflows, procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve EMR utilization and seamless processing. Configures, implements and supports EMR and peripheral systems, transaction management, errors and exception management. Works with users in the support of business applications. Essential Functions: ? Provides O & M, break-fix and operational support to the Clinic Operations business users for Centricity Practice Solutions and peripheral applications utilizing tools supplied for phone support, ticket support, e-mail, and remote computer support. ? Supports Clinic Operations Projects and Implementation plan working with the Clinical Informatics team, interact with Business leaders and project team / resources to understand requirements, workflows, business process Model and expectations including familiarizing yourself with Molina?s Key Decisions for EMR. ? Performs and reporst on update, build, break-fix testing. Create and utilize test scripts when necessary. ? Executes build of clinical content as approved both within Centricity Practice Solutions application and utilizing third party tools such as Visual Form Editor, Text File Editor, creation of letters, forms, handouts and more. ? Troubleshoots, configures and supports all modules of EMR application and interfaces including but not limited to eRx, Orders, reports (clinical), Lab Interface, clinical documentation, health maintenance, state immunization Registries, Patient Portal, scanning, indexing, vitals? device integration, and administration. ? Troubleshoots, configures and supports all modules of Practice Management application including but not limited to reports (financial), EDI, scheduling, billing, collections, and administration. ? Works closely with Molina IT resources and business appointed testers in preparation for deployments and delivery. ? Gathers requirements from business and provide feedback to determine the best method for clinical, PM, EDI, and reports building. ? Monitors and resolves errors and exceptions created from third party interfaces. ? Provides tasks and delivery status to the IT project manager and Manager on a weekly basis and as requested. ? Participates in delivery schedule planning and provide task level estimations. ? Works the application issues with related groups such as Development, DBAs, Architects, infrastructure and Operations. ? Tries alternative solutions and provide observations to project team/manager. ? Works independently and resolves problems with limited supervision. ? Conducts peer review of other developers (internal and contract staff) to ensure standards and quality. ? Recommends, schedules and performs software improvements and updates. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ? Knowledge of industry standard quality norms, EMR/PM applications suite and expertise in at least one area of the product suite ? Ability to support workflow documentation, designs and setup ? Ability to provide basic User training, Go-Live Support, work and resolve issues and provide resolution ? Ability to define Processes and Procedures, and coordiante daily development and support activities ? Good interpersonal skills required to interact with customers and clients and provide functional and technical assistance to resolve problems ? Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to abide by Molina?s policies ? Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work ?
