The Arkansas Department of Health Immunization Section seeks a HL7 Interface Specialist to join an existing team in on-boarding EPs and EHs to submit on-going immunization data through electronic data exchange. Eligible Professionals (EPs), Eligible Hospitals (EHs) and vendors seeking to participate in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program, and who are pursuing progressive stages of meaningful use, can exchange data with the state of Arkansas through WebIZ. The HL7 Provider Interface Specialist will work with EHR vendors, eligible providers, and eligible hospitals to on-board, test, and process HL7 data transmissions to the state IIS. The specialists will be expected to coordinate vendor calls and activities with the Arkansas Department of Health Meaningful Use Registration System (MURCS) Team and attend MURCS program meetings.
