To be completed in the timeframe specified by Department work tickets. Perform proactive daily monitoring for high availability, system data protection, user account management, disk storage management, hardware and OS maintenance and application maintenance for all servers serviced by HMS. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve outages and problems reported by customers, system administrators and support teams. To be completed in the timeframe specified by the Department work tickets. Provide technical expertise, weekly, to assist with the development, deployment, maintenance, and implementation of the HMS System including Intersystems Cache upgrades. 6Prepare training documentation and conduct training of HMS System Administrators on server administration and best practices to ensure proper setup, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery of HMS systems. To be completed in the timeframe specified by the Department work tickets. Provide documented details of all server administration work completed with resolution for all resolved tickets and assignments completed in the timeframe specified by management in work tickets. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience with command line tools such as Microsoft PowerShell and PowerShell scripting. Seven years of experience working/supporting the development of Web-based applications in .Net, or Java or Intersystems Cache (CSP and/or Zen) Seven years of experience using and managing SQL programming. Seven years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Seven years of experience with customer support. Seven years of experience with enterprise class Windows Server system design and administration, including the proactive monitoring of system environments and problem resolution, user support, printing support, IIS support, certificate management, system application support, Operating System (OS) support, hardware/software system installation, configuration, and maintenance. Seven years of experience with business continuity and disaster recovery, planning, including the backup and restore of data, business continuity methods and policies, system high availability and disaster recovery strategy and testing. Seven years of experience with configuration management, administration, and patching of servers, strong knowledge of the Intersystems Cache framework a plus. Seven years of experience in IIS Web application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Seven years of experience in applying knowledge of database management systems in the operations aspects of production database systems.
