Job Description : Software Engineer (Infrastructure) OR Cloud DevOps Engineer About the Role: Our engineering team is responsible for the AWS Cloud & BigData platform infrastructure for entire Consumer Information Services division. We are seeking a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) aka Cloud DevOps Engineer to help us continuously improve how we build, secure and run our rapidly growing Cloud and BigData platform. You have extensive experience in cloud technologies and preferably, big data platforms, with demonstrated success in helping organizations build and scale the tooling that improves engineering efficiency, accelerates product Go-To-Market strategies, help save costs and improve security. What Youll Do Here Provide expertise and leadership in cloud infrastructure, cloud services architecture and application space Work closely with product engineering and SRE teams, provide hands-on engagement to develop, direct and implement reliable, secured and cost-effective cloud solutions Participate with a cross department-functional team to establish a cloud operational governance framework Lead significant production improvements, drive to achieve a high degree of automation, security, and performance management What Youll Need To Succeed Must Have Skills: Solid knowledge on Unix operating system (any flavor of Unix) Strong networking fundamentals (TCP, HTTP(S), routing and network security) on any public cloud platform, preferably AWS Expert knowledge in cloud security (network, data and resource), auditing and transparency Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation or any other infrastructure provisioning frameworks Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible or any other configuration management frameworks. Demonstrated ability to write at least one scripting language and/or one programming language such as Shell, Python, Ruby, Java or other equivalent. Nice to have skills: Solid experience in at least 1 programming language, preferably Java. Experience with additional public cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, in addition to AWS is a plus Experience with BigData platforms, like AWS EMR, Databricks, Cloudera, Hortonworks etc. Experience with open source technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, Airflow etc. AWS Solution Architect Certification (any level).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
