Data Platform Architect Profile & Description We are currently underway with a Reporting and Analytics project, which will restructure and consolidate our current data warehouse, enabling a robust, flexible platform which will serve as the single source of truth for a new Business Intelligence tool. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of designing robust, scalable data platforms, enabling a self-service data driven enterprise. Primary Job Duties: Maintain strategic roadmap to meet enterprise data platform vision. Accountable for ETL development best practices and compliance. Design and architect data platform to deliver scalable model for future growth needs. Mentor data engineering team to support data platform. Engage with the business to work through existing capability matrix. Deliver roadmap updates to the CTO, Director, and Business Owners as needed. Assist with design of BI tool semantic layer. Required: 5+ years of experience as a data platform architect. 3+ years of development experience using Informatica PowerCenter. 10+ years of experience delivering BI solutions. 10+ years of experience with OLTP and OLAP database models. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational database systems. Extensive analytical and problem solving skills. Experience designing reporting and analytics system in Healthcare domain. Extensive knowledge of the direction of reporting and analytics marketplace. Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the health care domain. Experience creating strategic roadmap for reporting and analytics domain. Experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDB and Hadoop. Highly Desirable: Experience delivering reporting and analytics platform in a multi-tenant configuration. Experience delivering reporting and analytics platform in a SaaS model. Experience with AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics. Experience with agile development methodology. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field or comparable work experience.
