Job Description Engineer: SQL Server (2005/2008), Hardware, Networking,

Description:

The Database Engineers role is to strategically design and implement large scale data migrations into products using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008. Additionally, the Database Engineer will be called upon to design and implement highly custom large scale database solutions that augment products. On occasion, the Database Engineer will be asked to evaluate, size and select technology components, such as software, hardware, and networking capabilities, for database management systems and application databases across the organization. Focusing more broadly on projects that impact multiple areas of products, the Database Engineer will work directly with external clients using both analytical skills and subject matter expertise in financial applications to gather requirements, design solutions and execute implementations.
