Description :


Provides computer hardware and software support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. May require an associates degree in a related area and/or 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Preferred skillset:

Good hardware knowledge/troubleshooting on PCs, Laptops, and printers/copiers
Knowledge of Ghost Imaging software
Active Directory
Windows 7, 10
Remote software
VPN Software
SCCM
Office 360 knowledge

Position has an opportunity after six (6) months of contract employment to be offered as a permanent position with the Georgia Department of Public Safety. **Candidate must be able to pass a full background investigation and polygraph with this state agency.**
