Job Description Analyst: HP (ALM), Functional Testing, Healthcare, Bachelor Degree In Computer Science MMIS

3+years of experience in leading and delivering multiple testing services in multiple technologies. Exceptional in testing and development methodologies and their interaction.

Tester with broad Medicaid MMIS / DDI experience is highly preferred

State HEALTH initiative which is implementation of an employer premium assistance program and/or a CDHP plan instead of traditional Medicaid eligibility/services. Project isnt same size as an MMIS DDI, but it spans many subsystems (claims, finance, managed care, member, reporting, etc), has significant MCO and eligibility interface requirements, and has a compressed timeline. Tester with broad MMIS DDI experience to perform testing efforts and develop/execute overall testing plan.

Team player - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Applies basic foundation of a functions principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope.
Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience.
Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment.
Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.
Proficient in testing analysis and design, functional and performance models, and test specifications to:
o develop functional models for testing
o develop performance models for testing
o evaluate and validate test cases and scripts
o validate functional models for testing
o validate performance models for testing
o develop test specifications, validate test specifications
o validate testing coverage
o escalate quality issues for resolution
o evaluate test automation tools and validate testing environment in order to develop test specifications
Proficient in testing processes and tools to:
o execute test cases and scripts
o analyze test results
o report on testing progress and results
o facilitate defect resolution and document final test results in order to execute testing engagement
Knowledgeable of testing processes and testing metrics to:
o review test summary report
o provide testing project feedback and archive testing assets in order to verify completion of testing

Normal Shift: M-F 8:00-5:00

Tools/technical Skills:
HP ALM / Quality Center
Manual/Functional Tester
Healthcare industry knowledge with broad Medicaid MMIS / DDI highly preferred
? Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Applies basic foundation of a functions principles, theories and concepts
3-5 years of related manual and/or automated testing experience
Healthcare industry knowledge highly preferred
HP Quality Center/ALM
Proficient in testing and development methodologies and their interaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a global team.
