Description:

Note: Position is 5 Days / Wk. On-Site

Summary:
The Department of Law and Public Safety requires assistance supporting one of its mission critical applications. This position will provide some application administration as well as researching errors encountered by internal staff and external users, communicating errors to the Project Manager/Application Vendor, and working with same staff to resolve problem.

Duties:
Provide application support such as resetting passwords.
Handle application complaints via phone or email, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
Communicating with Application Vendor via email and phone.
Documenting errors and solutions.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assist with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business or Information Technology.
3+ years experience with Application Support or Help Desk related duties.
3+ years of customer interfacing experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of information technology and business concepts.
Maybe required to complete criminal background check.
