Job Description Specialist: Helpdesk, MS Office, Java,

Responsibilities:
* Monitor the service components.
* Implement monitoring tools.
* Acknowledge the events, and decide when to escalate.
* Identify performance bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
* Measure the availability of IT services and the impact of service outages.
* Monitor the actual availability achieved versus the targets, and ensure that the shortfalls are addressed.
* Consolidate the downtime information from the service management functions.
* Prepare and distribute the Service Availability Report.

Identify areas for improvement in the system.
* Prepare the Implementation Plan to implement the Availability Plan.
* Modify the availability design as per the requirements.
*Review, approve, or reject the monitoring requirements.
*Promote awareness of availability requirements and solutions to the support organization.
*Maintain the availability management system and infrastructure.
*Maintain the Availability Plan which prioritizes and plans availability.
*Implement and monitor maintenance activities.
*Notify stakeholders about maintenance activity.
*Educate Jr. staff
*Communicate with all stakeholders on process and procedures
*Consolidate and report Incidents monthly to upper management

Required Technical Skills:

· Help desk experience – 1 to 2 years of experience

· MS Office experience – 1 to 2 years of experience

· Java experience – 6 months to 1 year of experience
