Description : • Extensive knowledge of IDMS deployment and operations in a z/OS environment on a z-series IBM mainframe computer. • Extensive knowledge of IDMS Network database creation, modification, monitoring and tuning fundamentals. • Knowledge and deployment of IDMS security, including security of ADS/O application structures, IDD and relational database objects. • Understanding of application programming for the IDMS database, both native and SQL, using the COBOL and ADS/O programming languages. • Be familiar with the IBM High Level Assembler on the z/OS operating system. • Be familiar with IDMS Perfmon online monitoring and report generation. • Understanding of IT development and implementation projects. • Project planning experience, including effort estimation on technical tasks and resource allocation. • Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to give presentations to project management. • Impeccable integrity. This project will have very high visibility and will impact significant expenditures of public funds.
