Location: Charlotte, NC Length: Contract to HIRE Position Overview: Responsible for application support focused on Microsoft (MS) IIS-based products. Including build, install, migrate, Design and configure applications hosted on Microsoft based web server IIS. (Internet Information Services) for Internal and External applications (internet and intranet access) Tune and migrate web / application server from windows OS 2008 to windows OS 2012/2016 IIS project migration, between versions IIS7.0/7.5 to IIS8.0/8.5/10 Production support of multi-server IIS web farms, include troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis after incidents, tuning, and security analysis. Promotions of application code from in-house Application Development teams Vendor products upgrade planning, coordination across teams and rollout. Clearly communicate across multiple tiers of organization. Provide centralized technical support for clients to configure, troubleshoot and resolve IIS, SQL, SSL Certificate and application issues on Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 servers Interface with off-shore team members for support of daily tasks and Assist team members with the implementation of new technology Prepare technical documentation in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures Provide off-hours support as needed.
