Project has 3 major scope items- Data Monitoring , Access Detective Controls using Role Management within SailPoint Identity IQ and CSP Process Monitoring. 1. Data Monitoring leveraging Agile methodology. Team is building toward a pilot implementation of scanning in program increments. Once it is in place, team will collect customer feedback and iterate over it, deploying incremental improvements with each iteration. 2. Access Detective Controls is planning to implement Role Management within SailPoint Identity IQ. Team is validating the security aspects of the Host RACF agent and would need to evaluate performance test needs. 3. CSP Process Monitoring work will be installing Syncsort Ironstream and setting it up to pulling in SMF logged data to Splunk. This will initially be done within existing environments and using existing (old) data to test process design. When the data bridge is online and has test data available, team will setup Ironstream in that environment and transition previously configured setup to hit the data bridge. For the project in general, team is looking for a Test Analyst to help with Test Planning and Execution activities ( Access Detective Controls, team will be able to leverage developers and product owners for validations and will not need a test analyst allocated). Skills of the Test analyst should include ability to write SQL queries for DB2 and IMS and experience with Hadoop. Team desires to have someone who can work in the same schedule as the team or with at least 4 hrs of overlap. Team will continue to evaluate possibilities for automation as part of detail planning for each items. Team will need to log defects as Test Activities progress. Which instance( s) of the Trac to be used will need to be identified. Project Coordinator will be able to represent the project if a need arise for program defect/triage reporting/coordination Stakeholders in the environment will need to be identified as project makes progress with the solution. The first step in the data monitoring process is collection of data for examination from Test data stores. Project will have to rely on SMEs from individual product areas to help with queries and identification of data sets for their products. Project will need to make sure with the help of the SMES that the scanning process that the project implements does not negatively impact the activities of people who are trying to test software.
