This is a 1 year + contract position Position: Solution Architect Location: Hicksville, NY Duration: 1 year + contract position Position Description: Our client is a Large Utilities Company located in the Hicksville, NY area that is looking for a Solutions Architect to fill a 1 year + contract position. Primary Roles & Responsibilities: • Develop and drive enterprise level strategy for Mobile technologies • Create and maintain Infrastructure documentation (architecture diagrams, policy, personas, etc.) • Configure policies and delivery groups • Create and maintain support documentation • Develop strong technical relationships within the teams; serve as trusted advisor to account teams and customer base. • Work with internal management to identify, qualify, and develop mobile opportunities • Represent and prioritize requirements with internal solutions development team. • Work closely with our service providers within the mobility space for current and future technologies with focus on customer experience. • Act as an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to architect full stack enterprise mobility solutions to meet the needs of the business. • Lead in the specification and testing of EMM environment and enterprise integration components. • Drive technical architecture for deploying, upgrading, and expanding EMM platforms to build upon and expand existing deployment, as well as future strategies. • Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution, including issues with global connectivity, application deployment, and advanced system integrations to achieve high efficiency and high availability of the EMM platform. • Provides senior-level coordination in the acquisition, testing, and installation of the EMM platform including hardware and software. • Stay apprised of developments in the Apple, Android, and Windows space to ensure timely updates, security vulnerability patches and application compatibilities meet the organizations requirements. • Proactively monitor strategic direction of solution vendors, technology partners, and market trends to determine their potential impact and value to the enterprise. • Provide technical and architecture consulting to business teams. • Provide architecture and solution guidance to project teams in support of solution design and development • Work with internal teams to design and build integrations with other corporate applications and tools. Knowledge and Capabilities: • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Deep and broad hands on experience with MDM technology with a focus on strategy and engineering. • Deep and broad experience with mobile technologies • Deep and broad experience of mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.) • Mid- to Large-scale production experience where Mobility services are mission-critical • Be able to work well in a team, but also have the ability to work independently • Strong knowledge of AirWatch/Workspace One and be able to Drive deployments and adoption. • Strong knowledge of Intune and like products • Strong presentation\teaching skills. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products. • Ability to initiate and complete projects with minimal guidance from others • Highly self-motivated and directed • Ability to listen to customers and capture their business capability needs. • Ability to then translate customer business capa   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
