The Atrium Project Manager works with functional and technical leadership to identify and coordinate project resources engaged with the project, coordinate, manage, and provide support for the tasks assigned to the project team, maintain the project plan, identify risks and mitigations, communicate project health to all stakeholders, identify and track issues and resolutions, help project team achieve consensus, make recommendations and provide direction to achieve project goals, and utilize ethical means to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and achieve project goals. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years direct project management; implementation of transactional systems or point of sale systems, basic understanding of higher education organizational and operating structure and business units MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW OR INSTITUTION: N/A ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) PMP Certification, 2 years IT experience, direct implementation experience with Atrium and/or Blackboard Transact system, experience with project management software solutions; direct experience in a university or higher education environment; direct Auxiliary Services/Campus services knowledge (Copy/Print services, student dining hall operations, other campus dining operations, bookstore operations, campus ID card production/encoding systems) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*: Project Management: Demonstrate and cultivate a project-management oriented culture and mindset within project team Manage project using project management tool (TeamDynamix) and best practices Responsible for project plan maintenance and follow-up Responsible for continuity of process flow and action items from project meetings Responsible for continuity of process flow and actions items with various vendor (non-KSU), functional, and technical teams Analyzes and develops strategy for scope changes, including specific support requirements, risks, timeline adjustments, and approvals for additional work Review and provide guidance for scope changes by ensuring project documentation is accurate and complete Provide advice, guidance, and support to project team managers stakeholders Project Review, Reporting and Communications: Conduct regular meetings with project leadership and team members to inform and alert them of any issues arising from the performance of the team with regards to the project plan Coordinate reviews of tasks, action items, and resources experiencing challenges, and provides recommendations for corrective action. Coordination of dependencies across the plans and resources, including presentation of resolutions and escalation of conflicts.
