Manage backup, security, and user help system. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Provide users with technical support for computer problems. Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions. Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. PMI or PMP certification preferred. 5-7 years of experience required. Candidate Responsibilities This is a resource aligned with Strategy and CX team. Role is required to lead both process and technology improvements in the strategy management office which oversees 40 GIS programs with estimated value of $80M and oversees IT strategic road mapping process for $1.4B portfolio. Typical Day: POSITION WILL BE FULLY REMOTE This role will have accountability to lead projects and process improvements necessary for efficient IT strategy execution and monitoring. The position will have project leadership accountability to define and document the SFA program monitoring processes and automation roadmap. In addition, role will support strategy updates, scorecard management, executive communications and more. This role is essential to support the ongoing management and execution of the GIS and Enterprise Integrated IT Strategy. Education Requirement Bachelors Degree Technical Skills Required: 5 years of IT experience with at least 2 years of various IT lead roles as project manager or business analyst with project management responsibilities. Wants MS Project Experience managing complex IT projects. Experience in software development and support Soft Skills Required Strong initiative, leadership, business acumen, accountability, adaptability change. Strong problem solving, analytical, and change management skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer experience focus, innovation, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple business teams, IT teams, vendor partners, and other management personnel both global and virtual. Experience improving processes utilizing industry methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile.
