Initial priority is to lead the “Agile Assessment Phase” from a Technical perspective, working in collaboration with the Apex Team and the Apex Agile Transformation Lead. This technical consultant will work with our client to address to address code practices and technical environment. Will provide technical direction, guidance and recommendation inputs for the future state Agile adoption. This consultant will also be expected to work with senior level business and technology teams to build a sustainable road map to scale, improve the planning and execution model within the organizational standards. Client Technology teams include Architects who are primarily waterfall focused, who will need to shift mindset to Agile + Delivery/Development teams who have solid Agile experience, and some developers who are in between waterfall and Agile mindset. This consultant will possibly continue into subsequent phases including: Training Curriculum Development Training Execution phases and Coaching Training Curriculum Development Phase Support and oversite of the development of training material based from a technical perspective Supports Agile Programs and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), by fostering collaboration and the use of best practices among client Squad Leads (Scrum Masters), etc Assist our Apex Training Curriculum Developer/Coach with developing for our client a training workshop schedule that encompasses all commercial business and IT resources Support and assist in developing an embedded support plan for all impacted sites including Troy/Detroit, Charlotte NC and India based teams. Prepares the client Agile Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Scrum Teams, Stakeholders, and Agile Coach candidates for the Apex Agile Training Candidate Requirements: 5 years+ in Agile development environments, preferably experience with waterfall to Agile transformation Paired Programming experience Test Driven Development (TDD) knowledge and experience Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology (preferably waterfall to Agile) Experience with these tools: Documentation: MS Office/Vizio/Wiki/Swagger Collaboration/Documentation: Slack, Confluence Build - CI/CD: Jenkins, Maven Configuration: Ansible Containerization: Docker/Kubernetes Test Automation experience with these tools OR similar (Karma, Jasmine, Protractor) Languages:Angular 6.1.9 (SPA), Java, Datastage High level exposure to and ability to read Javascript and Java) Pluses: Financial services experience Roadmap/Task/Issue Tracking: Jira Source Code: BitBucket (need SOME kind of version control, but should be not ANTI-bitbucket) Artifactory: Nexus Integration Matrix Code Quality: SonarQube, CheckMarx, Contrast Monitoring: AppD, Splunk, Hygiea Frameworks: Javascript (ng-bootstrap 2.2.0, Bootstrap 4.1.3, SASS)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
