Works with Business Analysts and other project stakeholders to review and understand software requirements. Reviews documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness. Develops Test Strategies, Test Plans, and individual Test Cases for both new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Leads walk-through sessions of documentation as needed. Executes test procedures to ensure that all software developed adheres to approved requirements. Perform regression testing to ensure recent software changes have not affected existing system functionality. Documents all test results. Documents failures and the steps necessary to recreate them. Communicates with development team as needed to assist with resolving the failure. Tracks status of testing effort and provides updates to project manager weekly or as requested. Suggests improvements to testing procedures as appropriate. General Job Requirements: Minimum 8 years relevant IT work experience, not including formal education. BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology Field. Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
