Job Description: This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of Accounting Systems responsibility. S/he will act as a resource to business and IT partners providing system and process related support including scheduling and monitoring the forecast/budget processes. S/he will also work closely with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure deliverables are accurate and on-time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility. Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Analyze and administer all business aspects, including security, for accounting systems platforms within his/her assigned area of responsibility (e.g.) Hyperion Planning platform; Hyperion Essbase cubes). Monitors Managed Service Provider (MSP) activity and provides direction as necessary to ensure deliverables are accurate and on-time. Plans, organizes, and assists in performing more complex system related activities needed to open the annual budget process. Partners with the Expense FP&A team to plan, schedule, execute, and monitor each budget version process including budget allocations accurately and within scheduled timeframe. Partners closely with IT, business partners, and business analysts to consult on projects and work requests for planning platforms in all stages of the project(s) including analysis/planning, design, development, testing and implementation. Partners with IT to implement efficiencies around ongoing maintenance of systems. Identifies opportunities and utilizes system technology to create process improvements; Participates in various initiatives intended to improve specific areas or functions within department. Prepares and updates training materials for systems in his/her area of responsibility.
