Focus areas include working closely with IT staff and end users to provide effective and efficient business solutions in the assigned Infrastructure Functions. This position will monitor and analyze assigned Infrastructure Solutions to determine the optimum configuration, design, efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP Infrastructure environment. This requires a high degree of creativity and latitude you will be expected to perform the duties and responsibilities of a technical administration of SAP Net Weaver ABAP and Java production and non-production systems to support both production operations and project related initiatives. This role also consists of additional responsibilities to include providing technical expertise and direction to Junior Basis staff, ensuring appropriate SOPs/checklists are in-place and followed and leading strategic initiatives as requested by SAP management team. Furthermore you are responsible for developing and maintaining technical details for SAP Basis team SOPs (refresh, backup/restore, disaster recovery, migrations, configuration, installs, etc.) to maintain SAP system stability. Provide SAP technical expertise and direction to drive effective operations related to production support and project related initiatives. Perform hands-on administration of SAP systems to maintain/support a global SAP environment including troubleshooting problems, escalating open issues, implementing solutions, and optimize the system for maximum performance CLIENT is live with a full suite of SAP systems – ECC, BPC, BO, BW, SCM, GRC/Virsa Suite, Solution Manager, HANA, Enterprise Portal, ME, PI and integration with Active Directory / LDAP and HR Systems. Significant experience in these technologies is required. Other responsibilities include managing key SAP Basis team initiatives and provide technical administration as needed for upgrades, installations, refreshes, proofs of concept, backups, disaster recovery, capacity planning and other complex projects as needed Qualifications REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Technical hands on tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring. · SAP Suite on HANA upgrade & migration experience. · In-depth understanding of HANA administration, memory management and troubleshooting experience. · Oracle/Max DB database administration including installation, patching performance analysis and tuning. · Experience with cloud technology, Security and Administration aspects to deploy applications into cloud as IaaS, SaaS · In-depth understanding of SAP Portal, SAP MES, SAP content server and live cache. · Technical administration of SAP HANA including maintaining software and applying timely patches, establish DR, analyze and perform trouble shooting to fix the issue with SAP and vendor to get proper support. · In-depth understanding of web dispatcher in DMZ area to configure and trouble shoot B2B scenario including load balancing, reverse proxy and re-writing the URLs. · Should have working understanding of HP-UX, Linux, UNIX scripting knowledge, hardware blade technology, and storage, network topology. · Maintain backup and recovery process for all SAP environment including production and non-production systems · In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP and J2EE technology and system architecture in distributed environment having multi nodes running in HA cluster scenario. · OS/   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
