This person should possess a combination of strong business systems analysis skills, technical architect skills, and solid software skill sets including the Microsoft (MS) suite of programs, XML, SQL, Java and Web-based solution development. Additionally, the worker should have experience in managing multiple systems and serving in a lead role as a systems architect.The ideal Worker will be good at multitasking, analyzing priorities, documenting requirements, communicating clearly (both written and verbally), and setting/meeting expectations. Worker relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks and is expected to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Must be able to communicate with a broad array of individuals. All communication with internal and external staff will be handled in a professional manner. Required Skills: * Experience in the Information Technology industry. * Experience as a systems architect. * Experience facilitating interpersonal interactions involving design, development, testing, peer reviews, and implementation activities including developers, business analysts, development and QA teams while ensuring that system requirements are documented, complete and accurate, and that system support, release notes and maintenance documentation is complete. * Analysis and development experience in complete software development life cycle, including designing, developing, testing, integrating and deploying applications. * Experience as a lead systems architect or equivalent. * Experience in SQL programming and object-oriented (i.e., OOD) analysis and design. * Experience with JAVA and J2EE technologies, and interactions with relational databases. Ability to create, read and understand Oracle-based stored procedures or a relational database application. * Ability to elicit requirements from multiple stakeholders with different knowledge areas, clearly and concisely document identified requirements, and provide an integrated solution for projects of varying size and complexity. * Experience with system integration testing. * Experience developing user acceptance and systems test plans, test scenarios, test processes and schedules, and pre-test training. * Experience designing and coordinating defect reporting and validating defect fixes. * Understanding of data structures, data migration/conversion/transformation and concepts of both relational and multi-dimensional database design. * Team player with ability to mentor and train others. * Analytical, interpersonal, technical, and both oral and written communication skills; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; independently performs a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity. * Experience working in a team environment.
