Previously on Track-It. They are maybe a 3rd or 4th into the project. They want to go live in February and end the project in April. Currently in version Madrid. Do not plan on doing any updates during the project. Once they get out of the project, have to look at updating. May not implement into October. Overview: This person will be the hiring managers right hand person. They will be going through user acceptance stories with their 3rd party implementer of the project. This person will be helping create and upload ServiceNow articles, incident management processes for new procedures and then documentation. They will be more to help support the project. Will have to work through their own User Test testing from start to finish This person will be leading/mentoring other team members once they get to that point. They will be asked a lot of questions. Incident vs problem. This person will need to help talk through scenarios and understand functions. Especially going live and after Will it be a functional or technical role? Percentage split? Split. A bit more technical but someone that will also be comfortable in getting the knowledge base together. Taking docs they already have and implementing them to ServiceNow and create documents to fill any gaps. Knowledge is meant for the technician and end-user focus. Couldnt give exact percentage. They will be in the platform and utilizing. As far as setting up the platform, that is being done by the 3rd party vendor Needs someone that already knows how to use the platform May have to change some settings, workflows. Wouldnt be heavy developer type. More setting up or recreating something. If they created a ticket with a category of software and a sub-category; they will have an automatic assignment to send to infrastructure. Know how to do that and replicate Functional Side Configuration will be set up by the head PM. Most that will have to do is a couple of workflows Sitting virtually with the IT dept and not business users They will not be responsible for gathering documents; already done with another team. All of the requirements has been done with the PMs The 3rd party is responsible for creating functional specifications The testing that they need to approve the stories for the 3rd party and also do their own testing internally for how the platform will be used. If it will react, how it should or work for the users Couldnt think of any specific testing tools: they are free to test however they feel. Currently using Excel to track different scenarios. She wasnt too familiar with testing Technical Side To her understanding they will not be doing any developing ServiceNow: change management-will have interaction with because of the incidents and problems. This will be more of the ServiceNow management, catalog Resume ServiceNow, Service Catalog, knowledge based/article/management, incident problems, work flows Lots of knowledge of implementing ServiceNow on the service side If they have done technical writing before that would help, not anything specific. Need to make sure the documentation covers everything ServiceNow updates every 6 months. Look for more recent ServiceNow experience. More important that they are familiar with the latest version. Can be 2 versions behind in ServiceNow If they have worked on ServiceNow 5 years, would be helpful but wouldnt be the best look Understand the Service Desk function.
