Looking for a Senior Java Developer with Agile experience. This is an application that is housed in Cleveland for its business in South America. Must be able to produce efficient code and optimize the performance of the application as it is being built. This will be primarily backend development and candidates must know how to optimize Java code Client is concerned about latency issues with code siting in Cleveland but used in South America. REQUIRED: Knowledge & Experience 8+ years of IT related experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. Work with customers to build and formulate business requirements. 8+ years J2EE and Web Application Experience, including Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs), Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript, and web standards markup. Experience in an Agile environment. 3+ years experience with Oracle Databases 3+ years experience with Model-view-controller (MVC) architecture integration and Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD). 2+ years experience in Web Services/SOA. 1+ years BPEL and BPM experience preferred Experience with Hibernate. Experience generating Unified Modeling Language (UML) Documentation. Knowledge of Oracle development technologies (ADF, BPM, IPM) a plus. Personal Attributes Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
